Social Event — Acrobatics Show

Venue :Chaoyang Theatre

An Acrobatics Show will be provided during the conference on Oct.17th evening at Chaoyang Theatre. Guests are welcome. The Show is NOT included in the registration fee. Please make a reservation first, and the charge will be collected on-site by CASH in USD or RMB.

The Chinese acrobatics has a long history and rich national flavour. It is one of the art forms most popular among the Chinese people. The acrobatic art has been existent in China for more than two thousand years. In the long course of development, the Chinese acrobatic art has formed its own style. The ancient acrobatics stemmed from the people’s life and had a close link with their life and productive labour. Instruments of labour like tridents, wicker rings and articles of daily use such as tables, chairs, jars, plates and bowls were used in their performances of “Flying Trident”, “Balance on Chairs”, “Jar Tricks”, “Hoop Diving” and “Traditional Style Conjuring”, and others. Wushu, Diabolo Skill, and Lion Dance, originated from folk sports and games. The present Chinese acrobatics is full of optimism and well reflects the industry, resourcefulness, courage of the Chinese people. Chaoyang Theatre in Beijing is one of the most renowned theatres where you can watch wonderful Chinese acrobatics.

An one day city excursion will be provided during the conference on Oct.19th for a sightseeing of Beijing. The City Tour is NOT included in the registration fee. Please make a reservation first, and the charge will be collected on-site by CASH in USD or RMB.

The Great Wall

The Great Wall is 6350km long and was a mammoth defense bulwark that serpentined its way across mountains and valleys in the northern part of the country in China’s feudal years. Construction of the Great Wall began in the 7th century BC. But it was Qinshihuang, the founding emperor of the first unifying dynasty Qin, who brought it to completion. Repeated extensions were done in later dynasties until the Ming. Juyongguan (pass) is in the 18-kilometer (11 mi)-long Guangou Valley. The pass is one of the three greatest mountain passes of the Great Wall of China.

Xiushui Street   

As the early free market and the most famous commercial brands of China, Xiushui Street has a history of nearly three decades, accompanying with China’s reform and opening up to the outside world. Situated in the extension line of Chang’an Street, close to international CBD commercial circle, its geographic position is superior and its transportation is convenient. Therefore, it becomes China’s international tourism shopping market with the most international influence, along with the Great Wall.
